All that’s required is a phone with Twitter & the ability to transmit its current lat/lng to a server, and PRESTO! you can have your own dashboard… Which will publicly display far more real-time information than you would ever really be interested in. Along with showing the current speed, heading, altitude and position (and previous track) on a Google map, the dashboard also used the current geolocation data to determine the closest NPR station (with its strength from the current location), gas, food, lodging. Oh, and it showed the current weather (plus radar) too…. along with a couple other things too.
